Christopher Ché Martin (lovingly known as Che to his family and friends), 51, of East Haven, formerly of Milford, passed away on September 28, 2021. Born on April 21, 1970 in Peterborough, NH, he was the son of Suzanne (Jay) Whittaker and Roger Martin.

Che graduated Jonathan Law High School in 1988 and worked as an artistry painter across the state of Connecticut. Anyone who knew him knew how much he loved motorcycles, riding and pizza – especially Pepe's and Papas, as anyone can attest to by the countless pictures he posted daily! Che was an avid Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees fan and was often found spending time with many friends and family. He was also a huge supporter of the non-profit Color A Positive Thought where he supported the underserved inner-city youth and communities.

Along with his parents, Che leaves behind his beloved son, Christopher Jake Martin; siblings, Laura Martin, Jonathan (Lisa) Whittaker, and Justin (Randi) Whittaker; nephew, Kingston Whittaker; aunts and uncles Kate Fournier, Carol Castellucci, Paula (Paul) Mitchell, Laura LaBrecque, Anne Kennedy, many cousins, extended family and friends.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A graveside service will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the non-profit organization Color A Positive Thought at https://www.colorapositivethought.org.
