1935, in New York, she earned her bachelor's degree from Maryville

and a mother will have a lasting impact on her loving family. She was
an avid gardener and enjoyed all of God's creations, especially dogs.
She was active in many churches/communities in her lifetime and was a
key leader in her time at Zion Christian Church in Beaverdam where she
was instrumental in the creation of the Western Hanover Emergency
Action Team ("WHEAT") whose mission was to serve the people of Western Hanover in times of need. WHEAT has grown tremendously and continues to thrive today.

grandchildren, Adam and Corey Stroop, Daniel and Carrie Nelson, Kayla
Pruett (Josh), Holly Carlton; and her sister, Marjorie Rogers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers,
