Dana Lee Pierce, 68, of Sullivan, IN passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Sullivan Co. Community Hospital.

He was born in Sullivan, IN September 5, 1953 the son of Robert Pierce and Ruby Steinhall Pierce.

Dana was formerly a Shelburn Deputy Town Marshal, he was also a security guard at the Merom Power Plant and Breed Power Plant in Fairbanks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, also his wife, Eathal Fisher Pierce in 1985, and a brother, Kevin Pierce.

Survivors include a son, Robert Pierce (Danielle Schalburg) of Sullivan, IN a daughter, JoAnn Pierce ( Jim Shurtzer) of Merom IN, a brother, Keith Pierce (Connie) of Farmersburg, IN, five sisters, Gaynel Runyan (Paul) of Hymera, IN, Risa Wright (Danny) of Sullivan, IN, Corles Mattox (Keith) of Shelburn, IN, Dena Saude (Jim) of Shelburn, Kim Pierce of Shelburn, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The family has chosen cremation, and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
