Edward Ray Green, passed away at the Fellowship Home at Cotton Hill, Cuthbert, GA, on September 29, 2021. Visitation will be held at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home Friday, October 1, 2021,from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Ray was born on November 24, 1934 to William Burton and Bessie Jane Waters Green. He was a US Army veteran and worked at Magic Chef in Cleveland,TN before moving to Blakely with the papermill. He retired after 23 years at Georgia Pacific.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Christine Green, and his second wife of 26 years, Geraldine Dills Green; one son, Dennis Green, two brothers Charlie Green & J C Green, and one sister, Meda Sue Green Evans.

Survivors are a son, Darian Green (Cathy), grandchildren; Dylan (Dorothy),Jackson and Kirstyn Green, Kaylyn Rawlings (Nick), Christina Green, Dennis Green, great granddaughters Kylie Brackin and Sadie Rawlings, stepson Buddy Dills; siblings, Jack, Burt, and Gene Green.

We will have visitation on Sunday 10/3/2021 from 1-3 p.m. at Ralph Buckner funeral home and graveside service at 4 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland TN.
