Mrs. Teal was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family and enjoyed spending every moment she could with them. To call Mrs. Teal a "character" would be an understatement. From the moment you met her it was abundantly clear that her wit and sense of humor were a force to be reckoned with. There was never a dull moment with her and she constantly keeping everyone on their toes. She was also an avid sports fan. If the Atlanta Braves were playing a game you always knew where you could find Mrs. Teal, she was watching, cheering, and most importantly coaching them to victory. However above all else she was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Lord with all her heart and raised a household that sought after her savior as well. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, JW Teal; children: Rev. Larry Teal (Kathy), Glenn Teal and Linda Teal Jordan (Frank); grandchildren: Diane Teal Ivy (Robert), Brandon Jordan and Blake Jordan (Veronica Cooper) along with numerous other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry S. and Lucille Jinright Edwards
The family will be accepting flowers or memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
