She was born March 21, 1932, in Wythe County VA, the daughter of the late Malcolm R. & Elva Ogle Rose, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Hudson, an infant daughter Jennifer Hudson and several sisters & brothers.
Virginia is survived by 2 daughters & sons-in-law Connie & Kenny Smith of Draper VA, Elva "Sissy" & Roger Crigger of Wytheville VA; 3 sons & daughters-in-law Garry & Pat Hudson, Doug & Joy Hudson both of Dublin VA and Pip Hudson of Austinville VA; A sister Francis Pierce of Independence VA; A brother & sister-in-law Dan & Janice Rose of Max Meadows VA, and 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many extended family & friends also survive.
A funeral service will be held Sunday October 3, 2021, in the Reese Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery.
