Bertha was the daughter of John and Ida Dean Pace. She married Charles Pinkney Collins and was the mother of four children.

NOTE: Buried in the Nowell lot: Henry Lee Nowell, Jr., Ora Dean Nowell, Elmer J. Nowell, Francis Hughes "Dick" Nance, Volna, Lee N. Nance, C. P. Collins, Bertha Dean, wife of C. P. Collins.
