Mrs. Charles D. Schmidt nee Peggy Lou Parker of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday, September 28th at the age of 87 years.

Peggy Lou Parker was born on November 20th,1933 in Harper, Texas to Clayton and Vera Cottle Parker

She married Charles D. Schmidt on October 3, 1953 in Kerrville, Texas

Mrs. Peggy Schmidt is survived by her husband Charles D. Schmidt of Fredericksburg

One daughter, one son and spouses: Charles D. and Teppilinn Schmidt II of Fredericksburg: Trish and Lonnie Marquardt of Fredericksburg

Five grandchildren: Britney Marquardt, Morgan and Dustin Creek, Caitlin and Zach Swick, Sarah Schmidt and Charles D. Schmidt III

Two great grandchildren: Gentry Creek and Easton Creek

One sister, one brother and spouses: Lendon Parker of College Station; Gwen and Buddy Henderson of Hunt, Texas

Peggy is preceded in death by her father: Clayton Parker, Mother and spouse: Vera and Forest Strentz and one sister: Merle Massey

As per her request Mrs. Schmidt will be cremated

The family will greet friends on Saturday, October 23rd from 1 to 2 P.M. in the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg with a Memorial Service at 2 P.M. by Dr. Brian Wiggins officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to the Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Memorial Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice
