Tommy Joe Wilson, 43, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. Tommy was born on October 3, 1977 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Lonnie and Sherry (Cook) Wilson.

Tommy is survived by both of his parents; his loving wife Melinda (Smith) Wilson of the home; son Tommy Wilson Jr. and wife Aryes, daughter Shaleigh Wilson,and husband Jacob brothers Clint Wilson, Richard Powell, Billy Powell and Gary Powell; and grandchildren Jacob Wiedner Jr., Julie Wiedner., Jackson Wiedner, Malcolm Wilson and one grandchild on the way. Tommy enjoyed everything that included his children and grandchildren. Including fishing, camping or nature walks to look for fossils. Tommy was a jack of all trades and was always willing to lend a hand to whoever needed him.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Maple Hill Funeral Home, with a funeral service being held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Wyandotte Tabernacle in Kansas City, Kansas
