Gary C. Zimmerman, 64, passed away January 31, 2021 at his home in Joplin. Gary was born December 5, 1957 in Hutchinson, KS to Creighton Zimmerman and Ellen (Rohr) Weatherly. He was a longtime resident of Jasper and Newton Counties and was employed by Crowder Industries in Neosho. Gary was an avid fan of Star-Trek.
Gary is survived by his mother; one sister, Lori Buckingham of Galena, MO; three brothers, Wayne Zimmerman of Cherryvale, KS, Michael Paul Zimmerman of Lenexa, KS and Ronald Lee Zimmerman of Topeka, KS.
Gary was preceded in death by his father.
It was Gary's wish to be cremated. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Now, he's off to his next adventure!
