Ronald Lee Wright, age 70, originally of Gumbo, MO departed this life on September 25, 2021 at UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was born on February 4, 1951, in Bonne Terre, MO to Raniel and Helen (Barron) Wright.

Ron loved playing and coaching baseball. It was the "Love of the Game." J.R., Levi and Ron were always on the baseball field. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Ron, knew he had a huge passion for collecting baseball memorabilia. He would set for hours looking at cards, but the most important part of his life, was his family. He was a "Big Family" man. His children, grandchildren, brother, sisters and brothers in-law.

He always wanted to move to Florida, and he got that wish three years ago. He and Barb started what they called, "Their Great Adventures," and that was their "Love Story." Ron always had a story to tell and we will all miss that "Big Guy."
