Robert (Bob) Wayne Moore, 74, of Columbus, OH went to his eternal rest on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, parents, Ernest Marshall Moore and Sadie Moore, brothers Daniel and Jack, sister Patricia, and grandson Kristopher Gatwood.

He is survived by his beloved fiancé Ms. Tamara McClung, daughters Tracy (Rodney) Cline, Kelly (Stan) Frey, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Throughout our lives, we've watched Bobby get up every day to go to work in his appliance business where he served his community proudly. That's what most people have seen. The man was always the hardest working person in any room he occupied.

What he did behind the scenes was what really makes the character of the man stand out the most, and something he did privately and without need for praise.

He always looked after those in need. From supplying families with everything they needed to feed their children and have holiday dinners, to secretly buying Christmas, Easter, and birthday gifts for children, even to taking in children and adults who needed a home and supplying them job and life skills, Bobby has always given his all to help others.

We give thanks for his life and example and proudly carry that forward as his family and friends.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon with Funeral Services to follow starting at 12 Noon, at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, HILLIARD, OH, 43026. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Garden.

The Rev. Terry W. Gatwood and The Rev. Greg Farra officiating.
