Betty Paige Marshall
August 20, 1929 - September 24, 2021

Betty Paige Marshall, née Cameron, passed away in Stuart, Florida on September 24, 2021 at the age of 92.

Betty was born on August 20,1929 in Long Acre, West Virginia to Sudie (Davis) and Roy Cameron. She is survived by her much loved husband of 66 years, Donald Robert Marshall, and by her four children - Don Marshall Jr. (Linda Bain), Cindy Marshall (Dick Molyneaux), Darbie Conibear, and Susan Marshall (Allan Beech). Her six grandchildren - Josée Marshall; Kevin, Kylie and Alex Conibear; and Emma and Patrick Beech - will miss their vivacious and good humoured grandmother very much.

Betty grew up in Indiana, PA., the youngest of four predeceased siblings (Melba, Robert and William). She always wanted to live where it was warm so after graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics in hand, she headed south to Florida where she taught dance and soon there after became a stewardess for Capital Airlines. As fate would have it, Betty met Don on the only flight he would take that year. They married in 1955 and moved to Montreal, Quebec and for the next 25 years Betty focused on raising her family. Eager to return to warmer climes, she and Don retired to Florida. For 40+ years they split their time between a family cottage in upstate New York and a home in Stuart, Fl., enjoying sunshine year round. They were good and easy years, full of family, friends and laughter.

Betty grew older graciously, keeping fit by golfing with Don, swimming laps, roller skating and keeping on the move. She loved chocolate, finger food and her family, but mostly she loved falling asleep in Don's arms as they sat together in their big leather chair. She was generous of spirit, and a woman with an indomitable will. She was beautiful, she was brave, she was bodacious, and she was our Betty, much beloved.
