Sheila's life began on May 18, 1937 in Kansas City, MO; the daughter of Robert W. and Loretta (Ellinger) Stacy. Sheila was united in marriage to Philip Johnson on October 7, 1961 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in El Dorado. They were married for almost 60 years. She worked hard for her family teaching Home Economics for KG &E for many years. Sheila was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She lovingly taught second grade CCD at the church. Sheila was involved in many aspects of church life throughout her membership. Sheila never knew a stranger and her smile will be greatly missed. Her greatest joy was her family, which includes her husband Philip of El Dorado; daughter Stacy (Michael) Taylor of Haysville; grandchildren Alexander J. Deal and Michelle Taylor; siblings Robert W. Stacy Jr., James M. Stacy (Jan) and John P. Stacy (Karen), and a large extended family. Sheila passed away on September 24, 2021 in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Ann Stacy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 2 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10am. Sheila will be laid to rest at a later date. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
