Mr. Stewart, a native of Hutchinson, KS, was retired after 25 years of service as a firefighter in Kansas. He was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church.
On August 15, 2015, Ted started "On Fire Ministries". With the Lord's help the first meeting was held at the Coffee County Jail. This Ministry truly has been a blessing from the Lord. Ted moved to Georgia from Kansas in 2008 with his wife of 34 years, Roberta (Bobbi) D. Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta "Bobbi" Wilkin Stewart of Douglas, GA; three children, Lisa Tenille Liles of Colorado Springs, CO, Matthew Hamilton Stewart of Lawrence, KS and Ryan Scott Stewart of Haven, KS; sister, Barbara Hamilton of Haven, KS, brother, Larry Stewart of Hutchinson, KS; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Laurel Cemetery. Following the services, there is a luncheon at the Haven Community Center, 215 S Reno St. Ave., Haven, KS 67543. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Ott Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Haven, KS 67543.
