Chris is survived by her adoring husband of 37 years, Joseph, and their beloved son, Brian. She also left behind two sisters, Karen Runyan (David) and Vickie Johnson; sister-in-laws Josie Hagan and Jeanne Pointer; 12 nieces and nephews; and countless lives she touched as a friend and mentor.
Loved ones will remember Chris for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering friendship through all the seasons of life. She considered the family she built with her husband, son, and Yorkshire Terrier Betsy Rose her greatest accomplishment. She cherished the time spent with her sisters with whom she shared an unmeasurable bond and countless memories. Chris was cherished in life and will be deeply missed in death.
Visitation is 9am-1pm, on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, Louisville. A funeral service will follow at 1pm and conclude with burial at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
