Doris was a devoted and faithful well known member of her church for over 50 years. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the gym, doing cross word puzzles, and traveling. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister.
She is survived by her son: Ronald Anderson; granddaughter, Michelle Vandercook and husband Michael; great grandson Max Vandercook; and brother, James Anderson. She is predeceased by her sibling: Carl T. Anderson, Jr., Charles A. Anderson, Sr., Earl H. Anderson, Harold T. Anderson, Sr., Eugene Anderson, Audrey Clark, Betty Jane Gantz, Pauline E. Johnson, and Sandra Sandifer.
A viewing will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 from 10AM until noon at the First Zion Baptist Church, 451 S. Catherine St., Middletown, PA 17057. Services will be private at the convenience of the family and burial will take place at East End Cemetery, Middletown.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to her church, First Zion Baptist Church, Middletown.
