WESTON, W.Va. — Paul Elden Campbell, Jr., of Weston, WV, passed away Sunday, September 19th at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center following an extended illness.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jeffries Campbell of 50 years and two daughters, Debra Campbell Seitz and husband, Chris and Kathy Vankirk Belt and husband, Kevin. Paul is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild, Kayla Belt Alkire and husband, Thomas, Kasey Belt and wife, Kayla, Korey Belt, Dakota Seitz and fiancée, Krystal Spivey and Taya Alkire. He is also survived by his sister, Debra Campbell Brown and husband, Jeff and brother, Edward Farley and wife, Joanne and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was proud to serve our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. After his service, Paul held many positions from photographer for Olan Mills Studio to home health aide for the Department of Health and Human Services.
He was an avid golfer and fisherman and could repair most anything electrical or otherwise. He enjoyed visiting with his friends at the Lewis County Senior Citizen Center and Fisher's Auto Parts.
The family of Paul E. Campbell, Jr. would like to thank the many doctors and nurses of the Clarksburg Veteran's Administration Medical Center for their dedicated care during this most difficult time.
Public services will not be held at Mr. Campbell's request. Donations to local veteran's associations in Mr. Campbell's honor would be greatly appreciated.
