Composer, Music Producer. José Alfredo Miguel Jiménez Gálvez graduated as an electronic systems engineer from New York University, but the music called him. Son and heir of the singer José Alfredo Jiménez, he began working as a maintenance engineer in the International Music Department of RCA Victor in México. Pedro Fernández, Lupillo Rivera, Tania Libertad and Banda El Recodo were some of the artists who sang his compositions. Some of his songs include "Herida sobre Herida," performed by Pedro Fernández. His theme "Mexico" was a finalist among more than four thousand themes in the contest "México de mi corazón," organized by the Ministry of Tourism. In addition, as a producer, he was behind great figures such as Lola Beltrán, Lucha Villa and Jorge Muñiz. His songs appeared in films such as "La Último y nos Vamos" and "Somos Dos", as well as on the television program "Encuentro con las musas" and received gold and double platinum records for his compositions. In 2017 he published the book "Pero sigue siendo el Rey" a biography where he compiled the memories he had with his father. He was a spokesperson for the board of directors of the Society of Authors and Composers (SACM) and a member of the National Association of Interpreters (ANDI). Among his latest projects was a collaboration with El Fantasma and Banda Lirio, he also made musical tributes to his father.
