Steven was a Vietnam and Gulf War veteran and proudly served 16 years in the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnne Hembree. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Lunsford Pittman; children: Steven (Tamera) Pittman, II, Dallas (Heather Gudim) Welch, Jr., Dallas Welch III, and Melissa (Robert) Floyd; siblings: David Pittman, Donnie Pittman, Sandra Carroll, Becky Groves; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
