Doris Sims, age 94, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully at her granddaughter's home, in the care of Divine/Infinity Hospice, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Born February 10, 1927, in Washington, GA, she was the daughter of the late Wilkes Sanders Wolfe and Eleanor Eunice Strother Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Colquitt Sims, Jr. and son, Phillips Sims.

Doris was a charter member of Boulevard Baptist Church where she faithfully served and supported the ministry. She was devoted to the Senior Adults and Russell McClellan.

She leaves behind her son, David Sims (Wendie); daughter, Lori Jarman (Andy); daughter-in-law, Linda Sims; grandson, Kelly Smith; granddaughters, Elizabeth Cashion (Chris) and Karson Levely (Scott); great granddaughter, Strother Cashion and great grandsons Sims Cashion (Astrid) and Story Levely.

A special thanks is extended to Marilyn Coleman for the loving care she has provided over the past years.

Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register Friday, October 1, 2021 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. There will be a private graveside service officiated by Rev. Marcy Mynatt.
