He was born on December 10, 1939, in Roanoke, VA, to the late Wallace Norman Waddell and the late [Naomi] Lena Fouch Waddell [married 14 Apr 1933, in Bristol, Virginia].
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Waddell, one daughter, Wendy Rayburn; two sons, Billy Waddell and Jeffery Waddell; and two bothers, Elmer Waddell and Robert Waddell.
Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra and Kenneth Moore of Villa Rica, Gayle Bivins of Dallas, and Dottie Carnes of Temple; one son, John Waddell of Villa Rica; one brother, Norman Waddell of Ft. Myers, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
In keeping with David's wishes, he will be cremated.
The family will host a memorial service at a later time.
