Michael Ray Roberts, 53, of Richmond, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Kenwood Health & Rehab Center.
Michael was born in Madison County on October 26, 1967, the son of the late Ray and Kathleen Hall Roberts. He was a truck driver for the Allen Company as well as various other companies down through the years. Michael was an avid UK Wildcat Fan and enjoyed playing pool and watching NASCAR. In years past he enjoyed riding with the Peacemakers and most recently he looked forward to attending the American Legion on Sundays.
Survivors include: his son, Logan Roberts; his siblings, Robert Lee Roberts (Jodi Smith), Marty Roberts (Lisa) and Kathy Roberts (Danny Allen); two step-daughters, Chandra Riddel, and Samantha Riddel; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two sisters, Sharon Robertson & Ruth Ann Centers; his nephew, Gillus Cole "Stretch" Allen; two step-daughters, Carolyn Riddel & Ashley Brown.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Bro. Walter Rhodus officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Monday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Robert Lee Roberts, Marty Roberts, Chas Robertson, Codey Centers, Kenny Scrivner, and Anthony Martin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Logan Roberts, Danny Allen, Scott Centers and Dean Moore.
