Jim, Age 95, resident of Wesley Woods Nursing Home, New Albany, Ohio went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Murle on September 26, 2021. He was born on March 28, 1926 to Harry and Florence Caldwell of Columbus. In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his wife Murle of 65 Years, His son David James, his brother Robert, and great grandson Ryan Caldwell. He is survived by his daughter, Dinah Bissinger & husband Ron, of Thornville, Ohio, and grandchildren Stephani Springer & Husband Craig of Lombard, Illinois, Rachel Riesbeck & husband Ryan of New Albany, Ohio, James Caldwell and wife Kathryn, or Marrowstone Island, Washington, Sondra Donajkowski or Pinconning, Michigan, and 9 great grandchildren. Jim was a Navy Veteran, a Columbus Fireman, and later became the State Fire Marshall of Ohio before retiring to Marrowstone Island, Washington where he and Murle lived for 35 years. He and Murle Returned to Ohio in 2010 to live near family.
