Leslie Allan "Les" Ward was born Aug. 7, 1951 in Norton, KS to Frank and Velda (Fullerton) Ward. He passed away September 27, 2021 at Whispering Pines at the age of 70.

Les dedicated his life to family and farming. His kids were his greatest joy. In 2015, Les and Lynn welcomed their granddaughter Josie into the world. Les found himself with quite the little helper around the farm as she got older.
