Sherry Griffith, age 68, of Anniston, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Sherry was born August 18, 1953. Sherry is survived by her husband, James E. Griffith; her daughters Melissa Griffith; Sabrina Collins; and Savannah Milam; her sisters Belinda Cheatwood, Mae Milam (her twin), Charlene Powell, and Johnnie Lovejoy and her brother Henry Lovejoy; her grandchildren Brayden Collins, Sarah Collins and her future granddaughter. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Lovejoy; her sisters Marie Lovejoy Fowler and Vickie Hollingsworth. A visitation for Sherry will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery Serving as pallbearers are Tony (Fuzz) Vinson, Nicholas Lovejoy, Jenni Lovejoy, Tracy Gentry, Chip Collins, Wayne King, Tyree Bain and Colby Bowman. Honorary Pallbearers are Sammy Pressley and Brayden Collins. Sherry was a native of Calhoun County. She was a loving mother to her kids and loving grandmother to her grandkids. The light of her life was her husband, Eddie. She loved the Lord and her family so much. She was a very caring person and loved to write notes to those she loved. She was a fun and silly person. She was truly one of a kind. Her laughter would light up the room, and it was a contagious laughter. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
