Ms. Janice Dawn Thornton Campbell, 64, of Coffeeville, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born August 8, 1957 in Grenada to Q.T. and Mary Rounsaville Thornton. Dawn was a military ammunition inspector at Winchester in Oxford and a devoted member of the Shiloh Cowboy Church. Dawn will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother as well as a loyal and loving friend. Dawn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Shiloh Cowboy Church near Coffeeville. Interment will follow in the Broadstreet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Saturday at the Shiloh Cowboy Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Krystle Harris(Jonathan) of Grenada; two sons, Jimmy Corder of St. Petersburg, FL and Josh Campbell of Coffeeville; two brothers, Dale Thornton of Chattanooga, TN and Mike Thornton of Coffeeville; and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Weston Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Logan.

Pallbearers will be Bud Adams, Tony Bell, Braxton Coleman, Blake Logan, Douglas Logan, Hoyt Logan, Clayton Thornton and Tanner Thornton.

Memorials may be directed to the Shiloh Cowboy Church.
