He was born in Lowell on October 2, 1937, and was a son of the late Charles H. and Adeline I. (Harmer) McCullough. He received his education in Lowell schools.
Edward proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years as a machinist.
Edward was an enthusiastic fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox and was an avid duck pin bowler. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, listening to music, and was avid movie buff, especially musicals. Above all, he was a dedicated family man whose greatest joy was the time spent in their company.
He is survived by his four sons, Ronald McCullough and his wife Leigh of Hudson, FL, Thomas McCullough and his wife Lo of Tyngsboro, Michael McCullough and his wife Linda of Londonderry, NH; and Edward McCullough of Ocala, FL; a daughter-in-law, Andrea McCullough of Dracut; grandchildren, Edward McCullough, Jr. and his wife Meagan, John McCullough and his wife Kelly Duffy, Megan McCullough, Kyle McCullough, Erika McCullough, Adeline McCullough, Sean McCullough, and Casandra Heilig; several great grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley French of Tyngsboro, Beverly Seibert and her husband Josè of Lowell, Sandy Meagher of Lowell, and Linda Riley of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late, Charles McCullough, Kenneth McCullough, and Robert McCullough.
