Visitation for Robert Wayne Nicholson, 35, of Memphis, Indiana, will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 12-8 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. A private burial will take place at a later date. He passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Wayne was born on February 26, 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2004 and he was currently working as a Corporal for the Clark County Sheriff's Office. Most importantly, Wayne was a dedicated father and loving husband to his family. He loved spending time with his girls, especially watching them play softball. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Nicholson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Nicholson; two daughters, Laylee Nicholson, Adalynn Nicholson; his mother, Marcy Nicholson (Jerry Longest); a brother, Todd Nance; his grandmother, Charlotte Nicholson; an uncle, Tracey Nicholson (Jeannie); an aunt, Johnna Nicholson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
