David Richard Ryan April 12, 1960 - September 18, 2021
David Richard Ryan, age 61, of Nashville, passed away due to complications from COVID-19, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek. He was born April 12, 1960, the son of Earl and Virginia (Hamilton) Ryan. Dave graduated from Maple Valley High School in 1979. On January 11, 1992, he married Penny Patrick in Holt. Dave had a passion for Farmall tractors and was especially fond of his Farmall H. He enjoyed gardening, watching old TV programs, especially, The Waltons, and listening to music. He also enjoyed tinkering with and building many different things. Dave was a jack of all trades and master of none! Dave worked for over 15 years as a welder/fabricator for Feighner Boat Lift and Dock in Charlotte. First and foremost, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Dave is survived by his wife, Penny; children: Christopher (Jennifer) Patrick of Battle Creek, Tiffany Lilley of Nashville, Noah Ryan of Nashville; granddaughters: Daylia and Farrah Patrick; siblings: Elizabeth (Brett) Jones, Scott (Patty) Ryan; his parents, Earl and Virginia Ryan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 11 A.M. at the Charlotte Assembly of God with Pastor Shane Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home.
