Maude Allison

Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home for Miss Maude P. Allison, 65, of W. 5th St. She died Tuesday at 11:45 p.m. at the home of a brother, J. Thomas Allison of Circle M. Trailer Court, Lakeland, Fla. She had been ailing for five months. She was born Nov. 30, 1905, in Beaver County, a daughter of John Lincoln Allison and Ella Laughlin Allison. She had resided most of her life in East Liverpool and was a retired telephone operator. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Bell Telephone Pioneers. She also is survived by two sister, Mrs. Ellen Bartley of Chester and Mrs. Jennie Mackall of East Liverpool; another brother, Clayton Allison of Gary, Ind., and several nephews and nieces. Dr. A. K. Davison will officiate at the Saturday services. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night.
