Helen R. Parker, 99, of El Dorado, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at her residence. She was born September 9, 1922, to Egbert L. and Mary McCall Campbell in Marysville, AR. She was a member of Union Baptist Church the AARP and was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Roy I. Parker, Sr.; brother Carlyle G. Campbell; and two sisters, Myra Ray and Norma Height.
Survivors include her two sons, Roy I. Parker, Jr., of El Dorado, Bill Parker (Marilyn) of Wasilla, AK; daughter, Dianne Hyden (Jim) of Little Rock; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three special nephews, "the Campbell boys", and the fourth "Campbell boy", Robert.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, at Young's Funeral Directors in El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church, with Rev. Matt Wilson and John Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Marysville Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
