Earl Allison
Earl Allison, 78, of Alliance, formerly of East Liverpool, died at Alliance City Hospital at 6:45 a.m. today after a week's illness. He resided in Alliance since 1942 after leaving East Liverpool. He retired in 1959 after 12 years as a fireman for the Electric Furnace Co. of Salem. He was born in Washington County, Pa., March 12, 1882, and was a member of the Bethany United Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Margaret Allison at home; two sons, S. Howard Allison of Alliance and Raymond E. Allison of Kansas, Mo., and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Walton - Schrader Funeral Home in Alliance by the Rev. Joseph Brown. Burial and graveside services will be at Mill Creek Cemetery near Hookstown. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
