Keith Edward Walters was born May 28, 1935 to George Thomas and Mary Mabel (Link) Walters. He passed away on September 27, 2021 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 86.

Keith graduated from Blockton High School in 1953. He graduated from Southwestern Community College with a degree in automotive and welding.

He was united in marriage to Velma Elaine Kesterson on October 8, 1961 in Onawa, Iowa. Keith was a so called "Shade Tree Mechanic". This is where he enjoyed tinkering with bicycles. He wrote poems, loved country music, singing and dancing. He was a member of the Tent Chapel Church of Christ of Blockton.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, son Chuck "Buck" in 2018, brothers, John, Wayne and Dale Walters and sisters, Jeane Walters, June Bryon and Maxine Hamblen.

He is survived by his wife Velma of the home, sons: William (Camilla) Walters of Mt. Ayr, Iowa, David (Tana) Walters of Grant City, Missouri, daughter-in-law Donna Walters of Raymore, Missouri; 5 grandchildren: Hunter Walters, Wayne (Monica) Walters, Ben (Breann) Walters, Jordan Walters and Bobby Lynch; great-grandchildren: Liam, Landon, Theodore, Arlow, and Adelynn Walters and sister-in-law Jeanne Walters.
