Ted Moore, 51, Seneca, Mo., died at 8:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at his home following a lengthy illness.

Ted was born April 4, 1956, in Granby, Mo., the son of George "Sherman" Sherman Moore and Jessie "Geneva" Geneva (Heard) Moore. He had worked at Sunbeam before owning and operating Bug Away Pest Control. He was a Newton County Sheriff deputy and a member of the Set Free Ministries.

Ted and Sheila (Barlow) were married on May 12, 1990, at Wentworth, Mo., and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons of the home, Gus Moore and Jacob Moore, and a son, Teddy W. Moore, Stark City, Mo.; three brothers, Russell Moore and Gene Moore, Granby, and Roger Moore, Lansing, Kan.; and one sister, Sharon Jackson, Granby.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth George Moore (Died Sept. 20, 1978) and Rev. Garry Richard Moore (Died April 12, 2003).

Services will be Thursday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Larry Converis will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Chapel Cemetery, Newtonia, and serving as pallbearers will be Gus Moore, Jacob Moore, Russell Moore, Roger Moore, David Woollard, Doug Hanson, Rob Michael and Dan Woodward.

Friends may call at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Services under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
