Orene "Jo" Perry, 92, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Monday, September 27, 2021 at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.
She was born April 19, 1929 in to Herschel Wagner and Magdalene Layton.
She and Henry Leonard Perry were married at Piggot, Arkansas on October 8, 1948. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2010.
She worked at Davis Electric as a Line Worker. She was a member of Red Start Baptist Church, a member of VFW Auxillary Eastern Star, and a member of IBEW Local #1 for more than 15 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia and Eddie Brooks of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Willis (Sunny) Wagner of Cape Girardeau; a grandchild, Todd and his significant other Rachel Reed of Jackson; and a great grandchild, Sierra Brooks of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister.
Visitation will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home with Rev Donny Ford officiating.
Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
