Scott was raised in the Bronaugh area. He graduated from Bronaugh High School Class of 1999. For the past four years he has resided in Ft. Scott.
Survivors include his mother, Pamela, of the home; two sisters, Christine Martinez, Ft. Scott, and Heather Durosette (Mike), Nevada, MO; nephew and nieces, Logan Smith, Ft. Scott, Colton Lambott, Nevada, MO, Cameron Smith, Ft. Scott, Haley Smith, Nevada, MO; several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven L. Smith.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Newton Burial Park in Nevada.
