Mrs. Juanita Moats Phillips, 91, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, September 27, 2021at Canterbury Health Facility in Phenix City, AL.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am (EST) on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm EST (1:00 pm CST) in Indian Creek Baptist Church Cemetery located in Bullock County. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am (EST) at the funeral home.
Mrs. Phillips was born August 24, 1930 in Barbour County, AL, daughter of the late Benjamin Moats and Emmie Baker Moats.
She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Ridgecrest School. Mrs. Phillips was known as a good cook and her favorite pastime was reading her Bible. She was member of Christ Community Church in Columbus, GA.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Loyd Mann and James Phillips; two daughters, Paula Phillips and Amaryllis Jones; five sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by her children, Earl Mann and Linda of Smiths Station, AL, Pam Botts of Phenix City, AL, Jimmy Phillips and Sylvia of Wetumpka, AL and Patsy Hinson and Earl of Union Springs, AL; a sister, Irma Jean Taylor of Georgetown, GA;
