Mr. Bobby Frank "Smokey" Hopper, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, Georgia. Mr. Hopper was born February 2, 1934 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. William Frank Hopper and Ms. Cara Josephine Craton Hopper. He served in the United States Army. He married Mrs. Jacqueline Joan Cochran Hopper. They have been married for over 58 years. Smokey worked for Lockheed as a mechanic.
Mr. Hopper was preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Frank (Cara Josephine Craton) Hopper; Sisters, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Mrs. Robbie Minton and Ms. Shirley Hopper.
Mr. Hopper is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Jackie Hopper; Daughter, Ms. Allison Thomason; Grandchildren, Miss Lauren Thomason and Miss Brooke Thomason; Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at Mount Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. George Barnett and Rev. Don Rackley will officiate.
No visitation will be held prior to the service.
