Jonathan B. Horner, age 57, of Millville passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, a patient of Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Jonathan had been a resident of his home in Pine Township for more than 17 years. He was born on Saturday, May 30, 1964, in Rahway, N.J., a son of Barry and Barbara (Jindrak) Horner. Jonathan graduated from Southern Regional High School, Manahawkin, N.J., in 1982, and from Ocean County College, Toms River, N.J. On Aug. 26, 1989, Jonathan married his loving wife, the former Donna Torsiello. For more than five years, Jonathan was employed by Brenntag Northeast, Reading, Pa. He attended Moreland Baptist Church and was a member of Teamsters Local 429. He was a loving husband of 32 years and devoted family man and loved spending time with his family and doing things with his wife and grandson. He enjoyed the outdoors; his passion was hunting, archery and rifle, as well as fishing and working on the deer plots. He was an outstanding truck driver for more than 35 years, accident free. He was a kind and gentle man who would help anyone in need. He always provided for his family, working long hours over-the-road trucking. He loved watching his grandson play baseball. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Donna Horner; his parents, Barry and Barbara (Jindrak) Horner of Waretown, N.J.; two daughters, Veronica Horner and Florence Horner, both of Millville; a grandson, Louis Horner; two brothers, Chris Horner and wife Lisa of Waretown, N.J., Jason Horner and wife Kelly of Tenn.; four nieces, Maddie, Olivia, Ava and Sophia Horner; and two nephews, Travis Horner and Tristan Horner and his wife, Rebecca. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home Inc., 107 W. Main at Railroad streets, Millville. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Millville, with Pastor David Guenin officiating.
