He was preceded in death by his father, Robert V. Bryant; his mother, Oma K. "Sug" Bryant; and his granddaughter, Anna E. Walker.
Chuck was born on September 11, 1957, to Bob and Sug Bryant in Louisville, KY where he lived until 2015 when he moved to Shelbyville, KY to finally have his dream of living on acreage. He was a faithful and loving husband, daddy, poppy, and friend. His family will forever cherish memories of summers at the lake, summer vacations in Hilton Head, cruises, ATV riding in Durham Town, camping at NASCAR races and all the little moments in-between. He was a lifelong UofL Cards fan and while he enjoyed most sports, he had a deep love for the game of baseball. His friends and family will remember him as someone who was full of life, had an infectious sense of humor, hard-working, generous, and loved and protected his family and loved ones at all costs.
Chuck attended the University of Louisville and was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He spent the majority of his career running the family business, Standard Die Supply of KY, founded by his father in 1956. Over the years, he also stepped into other business ventures. He was the owner of two car washes, Pit Stop Auto Wash, and, most recently, was the owner of Bullet Liner of Louisville.
He was a member of Southeast Christian Church and leaves behind a legacy of faith in Jesus Christ. Though we grieve his absence, we rejoice that he has met his Savior face to face and we have hope that we will one day be reunited in glory.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cheryl; his three children, Amy (Steven), Emily (Matthew), and Corey; his three grandchildren, Ava, Harper, and Norah; and by many beloved family and friends.
His funeral will be 11am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Highlands Funeral Home.
