Gary L. Wright was born Aug. 11, 1937, to Clifford and Jennie Wright, he passed away at Life Care Center in Post Falls, Idaho, on Sept. 21, 2021.
Gary was born in Seattle, Wash. The family later moved to North Dakota and on to Post Falls, Idaho, where he graduated high school. Many of his high school classmates remained lifelong friends. He spoke fondly of the days when Post Falls was smaller, and everyone knew everyone!

Gary served in the Military Police while in the Army and was stationed at Arlington, Va.

Gary retired from Kaiser Aluminum and spent his free time reading and collecting books and doing all kinds of puzzles. He enjoyed playing card games, it was very hard to beat him at a game of cribbage.

He will join in heaven these family members who preceded him in death: his parents, Cliff and Jennie Wright, sister Marlys Akers, sister Geraldine Engan, nephew Daryl Engan, niece Connie Roberge, and his close friend Lillian Moore.

He is survived by his sister Maridel Anderson of Post Falls and many nieces and nephews who lovingly called him "Unk". Gary was known for his kind heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bell Tower Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
