HIXSON, TN: With heavy hearts, the family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved Mark (Cubie) Aaron Steele.

He is survived by his mother, Karlene Steele Hutton; stepfather, Jimmy Hutton; sister, Amy Steele Dalton; stepsisters, Sarah Hill and Rose Jackson; stepbrother, Will Hutton; special aunt and uncle, Kathie and Mike Gross; many cousins and a host of friends.

Mark was born August 4, 1961 to Karlene Gross Steele Hutton and the late David Steele. He loved sports and his Civil War group, State of Dade Camp 707 – Sons of Confederate Veterans. He had so many friends through baseball, softball and reenacting that he was truly blessed.

Mark was a kind and gentle soul who had a battle with Leukemia that was just too tough for his frail body. We will miss him but know he in a much better place now.

A graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery in Trenton, GA on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Brother Michael Gass officiating.
