Born on January 3, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to Theresa Schmidt and the late Edward Schmidt.
Beloved husband of Carol Schmidt (nee: Klobe) for 42+ years. Loving father of Leah (Adam) Cleary and Kurt (Melinda) Schmidt;
dear papa of Eva and Elizabeth Schmidt; dear brother of Pat (Andy Ley) Walker, Teri Kropp and the late Marvin and the late Sue Brennan.
He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Ron loved spending time at the lake and outdoors with his family. He cherished his time with his wife, children and grand-daughters.
Visitation for Ron will be from 4-7pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center,
