Elizabeth Ann Beaver Bailey, age 79 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC. She was a native of Cleveland County, NC and the daughter to the late Noah Lee Beaver and Altie Campbell Beaver. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC and was a homemaker. Elizabeth loved her church and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe William Bailey, two brothers; Marshall Beaver and Lyman Beaver, one sister Margie Mayes.
She is survived by one son Sammy Bailey, one daughter Donna Bailey Downey (Jerry), one sister Ruth Williams, three brothers; Tommy Beaver, Larry Beaver and Eugene "Doc" Beaver.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the sanctuary at Prospect Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the sanctuary with Reverend Murl Lehman and Reverend Shane Belue officiating. Interment will be in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tim Elmore officiating.
