Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Milford, with Pastor Steven Stork officiating. Visitation is Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. with family receiving relatives and friends from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Blue Mound Cemetery, Milford. Memorials have been established to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour or to the Milford Fire and Rescue Squads. Pallbearers are: Adam, Justin, Jordan, Parker, and Jeff Anderson and Craig Shook. Honorary Pallbearers are: Brooke Brooke, Abigail and Tiffany Hovendick, Tyler Rich, Heather Anderson, and Amanda Stookey.

Dale Andrew Anderson was born December 28, 1936, in Milford, Nebraska to Otto and Amelia (Unzicker) Anderson and passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at CHI St Elizabeth Medical Center in Lincoln at the age of 84.

As a young boy, Dale attended Milford Public School, later graduating with the class of 1954. Dale enlisted into the Army National Guard in 1957 and was discharged on August 15, 1963. After his graduation from high school, Dale helped his father on the farm and later took over the farming operation when his father's health began to decline. He worked at Southeast Community College for a short period of time before his employment with Milford Digging Service which he purchased and operated for over 28 years. He was united in marriage to Elaine Radford on July 28, 1962, in Gresham and to this union three children were born: Brian, Bruce and Kimberly.



Dale was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Farmers Cooperative and the Seward County Historical Society. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and watching TV. He loved to be around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.



Survivors include his children and spouses, Brian and Kelli Anderson, Gresham, Bruce Anderson, Lincoln and Kimberly and Kim Hovendick, Milford; grandchildren, Jeff and Liz Anderson, Omaha, Adam Anderson, Waverly, Heather Anderson, Lincoln, Justin and Megan Anderson, Lushton, Parker and Mirrya Anderson, Omaha, Jordan and Justine Anderson, Sutton, Brooke and Jacob Brooke, York, Tiffany and Abigail Hovendick, both of Milford, Tyler Rich, Amanda and Dustin Stookey, all of Santa Fe, TX; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Humphrey, Harley and Cyrus Anderson, all of Waverly, Kasen, Pass, Adrianna and Emmarie Anderson, all of Lincoln; Beckham Brooke, York, Leighton and Hudson Anderson, both of Sutton, Mason Anderson, Lushton, Madison, Gabriella, and Brinley Stookey, all of Sante Fe, TX, Rebecca Rich, also of Santa Fe, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elaine; brothers and spouse, Raymond Anderson and Lloyd and Norma Anderson, sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Marvin Uffelman, Lillian and Virgil Naber, Mildred and Harlan Naber and Clara and Evan McMahon.
