Judy Clevenger Dawson, was born on November 3, 1050 in Camden, Michigan. She was the daughter of Verla Green Clevenger and Stanley J. Clevenger.
She moved with her family from Michigan to the Chicagoland area in 1963. Judy was a graduate of Tinley Park, Illinois High School, Class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Ronald Thomsen in December 1969, shortly after, she gave birth to a daughter, Laura Ann (Laurie).
In 1979, Judy met and married Dennie (Walter) Dawson and unto that union, 2 children, Joseph and Nicole, were born. They would moved to Warsaw, Missouri in 1981. Judy sold lake lots at Bent Tree Harbor. She was also owner of The Auto Mart in Warsaw. Judy went on to get her bonding license, and started a successful bonding business in Warsaw, a career that spanned for over 30 years until her battle with Cancer.
Judy is survived by her mother, Verla Clevenger of Frankfort, Illinois, 2 sisters Belinda Olszewski and husband Dennis of Frankfort, Illinois and Patty Arnos of New Lenox, Illinois. Four Children, Laura Ann (Laurie) Dawson Tilllman of Warsaw , Missouri, David Dawson (DJ) of Kansas City, Missouri, Joseph Dawson of Warsaw, Missouri, Nicole Dawson Cole and husband Shelby of Warsaw, Missouri. 8 grandchildren, Kristin Tillman Dunn and husband Austin of Terrell, Texas, Bobby Tillman and wife Briona of Warsaw, Missouri, Drew Dawson, Warsaw Missouri, Dalton Dawson of Kansas City, Missouri, Daven Dawson of Kansas City, Missouri, Kaylee Dawson of Minnesota, Eli Dawson of Windsor, Missouri, Bentley Dawson Cole of Warsaw, Missouri, 2 Great grandchildren Denver Boyd Tillman of Warsaw, Missouri and baby bump of Daven of Kansas City, Missouri, 2 nieces, Amy Berk and husband Jeff of Frankfort, Illinois and Jessica Olszewski of Frankfort Illinois.

Judy is proceeded in death by her father, Stanley Clevenger (1995) , Dennis Dawson (2003) and Ronald Thomsen (2019).
Judy passed away with family next to her side, on September 22, 2021, at 5:25pm on a full moon. Judy always said, "I get most of my bonding business on a full moon"
Judy did it her way, fought hard and long until the very end. Judy will be truly missed by many who loved her.
Memorial Services for Judy Clevenger Dawson will be held, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Warsaw.
