Elton Arthur Kalm, 84, of Marinette, WI, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at home. He was born January 12, 1937 to the late Arthur and Alvina (Behnke) Kalm.
He graduated from Marinette High School in 1956. He attended trade school to become a certified Plumber & Pipefitter. He worked mostly in the Midwest as a Journeyman until retiring in 1996.
He married Claudia (Grawey) on July 26, 1958 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marinette.
Elton was an avid golfer who enjoyed camping, deer hunting, playing cards and was a member of the Ridge Runner Muzzle Loads Club. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Elton is survived by his wife, of 63 years, Claudia;
daughters: Elaine (significant other Steven Anderson) Cholka of North Prairie, WI; Marlea (Donn) Renk of West Allis, W; Kathy (significant other Mark Hoffmanner) Coburn of Gardners, PA; Laura (Brian) Terreau of Menomonie, WI;
9 grandchildren: Kelli, Katie, Gerald "Chipper", Karlee, Erin, Elton, Kourtney, James, and Jake;
8 great grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to his parents, Elton was preceded in death by a brother Arthur "Sam" (Peggy) Kalm of Allentown, NJ and sister Anna Mae Wilz.
Visitation will be held at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes on Taylor Street on December 22nd from 10am until 11am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am with Reverend Celestine Byekwaso. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
