Mrs. Sharon Dixon Cannon, 62, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Watkins and Rev. Randy Roys will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Born on November 27, 1958 in Hartsville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Dixon Jr. and the late Frances Kay Dixon. She was retired from Providence Academy and a member of Morning Side Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by her husband of 34 years, Daniel "Danny" Cannon of Gainesville; daughter, Stephanie Cannon of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Chris and Dakotah Cannon of Jefferson; grandchildren, Danny, Skylar, Billie and Kirah; brother, Fred Dixon III and wife Jada of Cleveland along with a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
