Betty Jean Holt, age 80, of Morristown, went home to be with her Sovereign Lord Jesus and beloved husband on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Morristown where she was always active as a choir member and a Lady's of Faith member and loved her church very much. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Gene Holt; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Holt, Carolyn Holt, Della Holt, and Mitzi Sizemore; grandchildren, Kimberly Combs, Michael Lawson, Jason Dennis, Erika Lemay, and Ashley Quiles; great-grandchildren, Adrian Quiles, Alex Quiles, and Erik Avery Lawson; brothers, Danny Lee Ferguson and Richard Ferguson; and nephews, David and Darrell Phillips. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, October 1st at Dalton Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services with Rev. Perry Davis officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
